The Maxsona Reformer Teacher Training Program was born from a Chartered Physiotherapist’s desire to combine the best of classical Pilates with an approach that works for modern bodies and modern living.

Dates:

May 23/24th (9.15 am to 5.15pm both days)

There will be approximately 6–8 hours of online/virtual content delivered via Zoom that will be covering class programming, reformer safety, and tutorials recapping course content. Dates for the online sessions will be announced in advance. You will also be required to complete an online module covering anatomy and physiology.

A total of 80 practice hours is required to complete the course, including 10 hours of teaching practice. Participants are welcome to use our studios for practice during designated times.

An exam will take place after the course. Each participant will be offered a choice of dates for completing the assessment. The exam includes a practical element and one online submission. The exam must be completed within 12 months of finishing the course.

Certification

The Maxsona Method Teacher Training course is accredited by us and is internationally recognised by multiple insurance providers. While insurers may occasionally request details of our course modules, this has never posed an issue and we are always happy to provide any information required for coverage.

Upon successful completion of the course and exams, you will receive a certificate that allows you to teach Reformer Pilates and be covered by insurance companies as a standalone qualification.

Requirements

This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in Reformer Pilates. No previous experience or certification is required. Access to Zoom is necessary for the online content.

  • Manual with all exercises and descriptions plus relevance to rehab
  • Access to a reformer in any of our studios for practice (time availability will differ between clinics). To complete the course, participants must have 80 hours practice completed.

€1500

A €300 deposit is required to secure your place on the course. The full course fee (€1,500 total) must be paid at least two weeks prior to the course start date. Deposit and payment instructions will be sent once you confirm your interest.
